back to blogging EVENT DAY 4 and 5

ahhhhh happy thursday/friday!!!! 

as i showered this morning, i am amazed at how fast the

time flies.

literally. the weeks and days go by so quickly.

why is that?

why is it that when you are a 5 yr old, it seems like it takes forever for ANYTHING to happen

but when you are

OLD,

the months fly by.

well, here nor there, i awoke to a cold, rainy downpour. i have finally pulled out the

BOOTS.

ugh.

i

HATE

cold

weather.

i

despise

snow.

i do like the change of seasons but honestly, i could survive quite well, living off the

coast of california or the carolinas.

hhhmmm.

something to debate.

alrighty, enough talk of rain and yucky weather.

today's topic over  here,   is
woman who
inspire
US!

wow. tough question. there are so many.
i
honestly
would have to
say
these
little
lovelies:

yep.
my
three
princesses!
they
give
me
drive,
hope,
faith,
inspiration,
love,
and
so
much
more!!

each one has so many different characteristics that i admire. they each have different personalities that sets them apart from each other.
they have all blossomed into
such
beautiful
young
ladies
and i am so proud
to
call
each
one
my
daughter!!

ok.....so last night/yesterday was a busy day. i didnt even get my blog post up,
thus
day 4 and 5 of back to blogging event at the same time.

my evenings are always so rushed and there never
seems to be enough time in the day.
i realize this
is how
life
has become.
everyone is BUSY!
but sometimes, i just wish for CALMNESS.

soooo, on to  the blog subject for day 5:

"why do you blog?"

why DO i blog?

originally i started to blog as a way just to vent. a place to share my recipes and craft ideas.
i was reading all of the amazing blogs out there
and
the
giveaways that were
offered.....
and
i
started
to
think.
and
think.
i wanted to be part of this amazing community. i wanted to share in all the fun......
AND
document my life.
i knew that noone would read, except for me......at first.
and
even tho i
do not have a huge following....
i have "met" so many amazing people who i
just love
reading about.
i have
learned
so many
great
things and have been so inspired.

there is princess # 2~after a 160 mile bike ride. yes. 160 LONG ARSE miles.

she's nice like that. (she gets her niceness from her mom~just sayin')

as a blogger, at least with myself....i blog about EVERYTHING. the

good.

bad.

the

pretty.

the

ugly.

and that's what's so great about blogging. you CAN do that. (most people dont judge)....

i think it's great that we can all go back and reflect on past posts as this one and beam all over again.

it's what makes me smile....

i also wanted to share a special something with you.

as most of you

know,

princess # 3

is a senior in high school this year.

yes.

a

big

senior.

little does she know she will always be

my

BABY GIRL.

but anywhosies, she is an amazing runner AND soccer player.

well, two years ago, she tore her

anterior cruciate ligament...aka. ACL

her posterial cruciate ligament aka. PCL

AND her

medial cruciate ligament. aka. MCL

she tore these while scrimmaging boys at a soccer camp in PA, at the start of her

sophomore year. boo. out the entire season.

she had surgery to repair and they replaced all those ligaments with cadaver parts.

yes. cadavers.

she went thru about an 8 month recovery period with a brace and physical therapy. she was

total non weight bearing for the first 8 weeks. crutches.

not fun when you are 15.

fast forward beginning of junior year.

tore

her

flipping

meniscus. aka. knee cap.

holy. heck.

again, another surgery. out her entire junior year....

so now,

it is her

senior year.

she JUST finally stopped wearing the brace. literally for two years she has worn this thing.

and she is doing so well. GREAT, actually.

so wonderful that this is what a reporter quoted:

she

recognized.

k, sorry....just a bit of mom bragging. with all of her injuries, it is unlikely she will

get a scholarship for soccer....

but

remember

god

has a

plan

and maybe hers is something else.

everything happens for a reason!
